From 24^th September 2011 Manchester Art Gallery will be displaying one of the first major exhibitions from the work of Ford Madox Brown. This is the first major exhibition of his work since 1964.

Plans have been made to turn the old Tetley's Bitter brewery in Leeds into a new and modern art gallery. The gallery will hopefully be spread over two floors in the old brewery and will host exhibitions by some of the regions most contemporary artists.
