We know how canvas prints can be a great gift idea and a great addition to your home or office to brighten up your walls. But something some customers have done in the past is to have photos of themselves winning awards displayed and printed as canvas prints.
You know what it’s like you have your photo taken wining a prize and then that photo is forever stored on your computer or put away in a drawer or album to never see the light of day again. We should be proud of what we achieve and having these moments transferred onto canvas is a great way of preserving and displaying your achievements for years to come. Recently Ultra Print has completed over 35 canvas prints of various winners of the “Golden Achievement Awards 2010”. The ceremony took place at the NEC in Birmingham in January this year, and the winners of the awards were given as an extra memento a canvas print of themselves accepting their award from one of the Dragons from the Dragons Den on BBC2. The recipient’s name and award were printed at the bottom of each print and these canvas prints were then sent directly to the winners after the event.
As well as these award ceremony memories, other companies who have had competition winners have also had their works transferred to canvas prints. B&Q held a competition for the 2009 Beijing Olympics, where children took part in drawing and designing Olympic based pictures. The winners of the competition had their drawing printed on canvas. These Canvases were then shipped to Beijing where they were displayed in the Team GB accommodation block. The prints were then signed by the athletes in Team GB and then these were returned to the winners of the competition as a keep sake.
